I love geography, maps, and all things spatial, and am lucky enough to work in a role that allows me to combine all three and to share the wonders of spatial analysis with hundreds of students every year. I am currently an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto.

I am interested in all things spatial, and love to figure out how to use geographic data science to uncover patterns and to solve problems, whether that be figuring out the best route to cycle to work or where to invest in climate change mitigation strategies. My PhD research is focused on more-than-human cities and considers how cities can be built so that all urban residents may thrive, regardless of species membership.
